Join our Community Conversations!
This fall, Plan Yarmouth will host 3 Community Conversations where experts from the project team will lead an interactive discussion about three topics most important to Yarmouth: Housing, Economy, and Environment. Join us to take a deep dive on these important issues!
Housing
On Monday, 9/11 from 6-8 PM, hear from our subject expert Jeff Levine, who authored the Affordable Housing Market Study for Plan Yarmouth. Following a brief presentation on current housing conditions, challenges, and opportunities, groups will discuss what kind of housing Yarmouth needs, where it should be, and other connections.
Economy
On Monday, 9/18 from 6-8 PM, hear from our subject expert Tom Dworetsky of Camoin Associates, who authored the Real Estate Market Analysis for Plan Yarmouth. Following a brief presentation, participants will talk about what kinds of businesses they’d like to see in Yarmouth, municipal actions for economic development, and the role of the creative economy and working watefront.
Environment & Natural Resources
Join us for our final Community Conversation on 10/2 from 6-8 PM! You’ll hear from subject expert Bina Skordas of FB Environmental on Yarmouth’s natural resources, open space, and waterfront, followed by group activities to help prioritize habitat conservation, recreation space, and municipal actions in the future.
