December Update

After 11 months of robust data collection and community engagement for the comprehensive plan, the Plan Yarmouth team is digging into all the information received and will be working on the first draft of the Comprehensive Plan Update in early 2024.

Want your photos featured in the updated plan? Send your images of people, places, nature, activities, buildings, events, and everything you love about Yarmouth. To contribute, please send them via email to Kate Burch at kburch@northstar-planning.com.  Include your name and a brief description of the image. We are not able to offer compensation, but you will be credited in the plan document.

As the Plan Yarmouth team is flexing their writing muscles over the winter, a call will also be put out to the community to use some creative muscle for a winter companion event: a Moth Radio Hour-inspired, live, community storytelling event in collaboration with the Royal River Community Players, the Islandport Press, and local writers and community volunteers. A request for submissions will be issued in early January 2024, so stay tuned to the Town’s social media and January newsletter for more details.
