Inventory Chapters

A key part of comprehensive planning in Maine is the development of inventory chapters on a variety of topics, including population, housing, transportation, and land use. These chapters compile data from federal, state, and local sources to give an overview of existing conditions in each topic area. The data in these chapters provides a basic assessment of what Yarmouth is like today, and will inform the goals, policies, and strategies that are developed in the Comprehensive Plan Update.

Drafts of each chapter are available to view online using the links below. These drafts have been developed using publicly-available data by the consultant team with input from the Comprehensive Plan Committee and Town Staff. The documents will be edited and updated before inclusion in the final plan.

If you have comments, notes, or suggestions, use the form to submit your feedback for each inventory chapter, or leave a public comment using the free Adobe interface.

Public comments in the drafts are the views of the comment authors and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or positions of the Town of Yarmouth or the consultant team. If you choose to add a public comment to a draft, please stay on topic and avoid personal attacks, political comments, or inappropriate language. Comments will not be moderated before they appear, and the Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to delete any inappropriate comments.
